Well, this is one of the traditional product from my country beside batik. Songket is a handmade products, so it takes times to make and the price is quite expensive.But it's worth for a collectible item for the people who loves traditional souvenir.as the time goes by, Songket is not only applicable as the traditional clothes/costume,but it can turned into several other things, such as wallet, tissue box, bags, shoes/sandal ornament, or even some modern style jacket/clothing.
